Learning
Do they really learn?
"Whatever your child learns, they will learn with understanding and with love."
Our three principles
- 01Understanding, not Memorizingthey understand, so they don't forget easily
- 02Knowledge into Skillthey can use what they learn
- 03Competing with Myselfno comparing with others; every day, a step beyond yesterday
How we teach
"The ear hears first, the mouth speaks next, the hand writes last."
First a child learns to recognise, then to say it correctly, and last to write it.
- Learning by doingwherever possible, learning starts with an activity. For example, times tables are understood as repeated addition, never chanted.
- Step by stepthe simplest version first; harder only after confidence.
- Deeper every yearthe same topics return each year, a little deeper.
- Islamic values in every subject.
